Ministry to the Bereaved
Ministers to the bereaved seek to provide emotional and spiritual support to people and families experiencing grief due to the loss of a loved one through death. Support is provided through assistance in the planning of funeral liturgies, wake services, attending funerals, and contact with family.

Two 6 session Bereavement Support Groups are offered to the bereaved during the year. One in early Spring and one in early Fall.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Consider a gift of a Prayer Shawl for friends and family who are homebound, ill, having treatment or have suffered the loss of a loved one. The shawls will bring comfort and warmth to all who receive them.

New knitters and crocheters are welcome and needed. We are also in great need of and would welcome any donation of three skeins of one color of yarn which will make one shawl.

Donations of yarn may be left with Judy Eisel at the Parish Office. For information call Roberta at 781 938-6844.  Any free-will offering will be used toward the purchase of yarn.

The Prayer Shawl group meets on Tuesdays.  Check the Parish Calendar for the next meeting date and location.
